Journalists Redefining Words For Us

ABC’s The Note reports on a USA Today article about the House Republican’s efforts to win back the House. The Note reported:

The House GOP goes on the offensive, as Republican leaders gave $1.9 million or 85% of their campaign money to at least 70 incumbents trying to hold GOP seats, writes USA Today’s Jill Lawrence and Ray Locker.

You can’t “go on the offensive” by spending 85% of your money on defending your own seats! That’s called going on the defensive! Morons.

At least the actual USA Today article was smart about reporting the numbers.
