Bush Highlights GOP Hypocrisy

So, Scooter Libby is pardoned by Bush so he can avoid going to the mean, old jailhouse like he deserved.

What I can’t stand about this whole episode, however, is the GOP hypocrisy involved. Apparently lying under oath and obstructing justice is perfectly okay, and is even rated a “non-crime, pursued when you don’t have a case”, when it involves the leaking of classified information to undermine the credibility of a critic in matters related to war. But when you lie and obstruct justice over a blow job, albeit one done in the Oval Office, apparently it’s such a travesty that you should be prosecuted and thrown out of office.

For shame, Republicans. This is partisan hypocrisy at it’s worst.
