Alexandria Mayor Runs for Re-election

Apparently, I am now on a mailing list for Alexandria Democrats – I just can’t tell if they think I’m a fan of theirs or I’m on a media list because I’m a local blogger. To be fair, I think it’s the former because they made a pitch for a party fundraiser being held at a Clyde’s in my neighborhood next week.

Either way, I got an email the other day advertising Mayor Euille’s website for his re-election campaign.

In the last few years, I’ve been a list more lazy about local and state elections simply because I didn’t know who was running most of the time and didn’t know when the voting occurred. That, and being in a heavily Democratic district on early level, my vote is hardly required for victory.

Still, it’s nice to be kept informed through direct mail and through emails.
