End Posse Comitatus?
In an interview with reporters, Bush strangely but seriously suggested that we end the Posse Comitatus Act when faced with pandemics like the avian flu.
I don’t care what the reason is, I have great concerns about any plan that would allow the Pentagon to conduct law-enforcement against unarmed civilians. We have a Second Amendment exactly to prevent that sort of government excess.
Has Bush no sense of restraint in using Big Government?
