Temporary Supervisor

In an interesting confluence of events, September will be a month in my office where multiple managers and coordinators will be out for various reasons, the biggest one having to do with the negotiation of a new contract between classified employees and management.

In light of these events, I’ve been tasked as a Temporary Supervisor, to act as a resource and provide direction for a team of processors while the other managers are out.

Not only is this a good opportunity, it also occurs at the same time my regular workload is running lower than usual – making this an ideal time to take on additional responsibilities. It will be an interesting experience, I think.
