The DCCC Still Is Net-Stupid
Don’t get me wrong, I am liking their recent revamp of their website (which I believe is the second one during this election cycle). But there is one thing that bothers me about the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s net presence.
I am following this race, so I’m thrilled Ron Klein is being featured on the DCCC website. It’ll help him get local attention, as well as financial help. He’ll need it to defeat a long-time incumbent like Clay Shaw.
But the problem is, if you notice, there is no link to his campaign website. There is no link to contribute money to him. There is no link to campaign commericals or even his platform. And most of the article is about Shaw, not Klein.
I’d have to do a Yahoo! search to find Klein’s website.
At least over at the DSCC, they provide links to most of the Democratic candidates for the Senate, allowing people to get more information as well as contribute directly to the candidates.
DCCC has a long way to go.
