Lying with a Straight Face

It was revealed today that Bush’s spies have compiled a large database of personal, domestic phone calls of millions of Americans. And he’s flatly replied that “We’re not trolling your personal life”.

Who are we to believe? The guy who has denied knowing Jack Abramoff? Or the guy who said Iraq has WMD? Or the guy who hired petty shop lifters for the White House, incompetent horse traders for FEMA, and helped support the biggest boondoggle of government bureaucracy in our lifetime with Medicare Part D?

Bush has lost all credibility, and he should know it by now. Why bother asking us to believe anymore?

Nothing he has done to date has validates our trust in what he’s saying.
