The New York Times showed how journalism is getting a very much justified reputation as glorified stenographers for the Bush Administration by writing this article on Democrats and the Iraq War.
If the reporter had read this brochure, they would know the Democrats have a clear message about Iraq as part of a broader theme of “real security”.
I really don’t understand why reporters bother to write “news” articles that are generic about an entire party without actually reading any of the memos, talking points, or websites, that the actual party apparatus puts out.
