Junior Tuesday
Edwards wins solidly, if not widely, in South Carolina and lives on. Clark wins Oklahoma but in a three-way tie with Kerry and Edwards and becomes the walking wounded. Lieberman falls short in Delaware against Kerry and bows out of the race either tonight or tomorrow. Kerry wins Arizona and Missouri by wide margins. Dean puts in a show in New Mexico but falls flat against the Kerry advance. North Dakota is a non-event as it packs it in with the Kerry bandwagon.
In short, Kerry continues to be the front-runner, but the play has at least one more act left in it before the curtain falls. (By the way, I am most certainly not a Kerry supporter.)
