The Proxy Senator
As of this weekend, my new novel is published! My publisher will be sending it to Amazon, etc., over the next month or so, but I’m sending a free advance copy to The Alligator and Glenda Frederick at the UF Student Senate, among others. Those copies should be mailed in the next couple of days.
The Proxy Senator is a sequel to Reunion at University Avenue, which was released in January 2005. From the official description:
Even as a man haunted by his dreams, Mike Adams is the candidate many people want to see run for the United States Senate. Reluctantly, Mike returns to the campaign trail once more. In the unpredictable adventure that is modern politics, he begins to see that the people he can trust aren’t always on his side. And it seems everyone views the election as a proxy for helping themselves. But when the woman he relies on the most gets kidnapped, everything changes…
The book’s retail price is set at $15.99. I may release it in e-book format, like I did with the first novel, if demand warrants it.
For those interested, I’ve got two other projects in the works: 1) the third and final book in the Adams storyline; and 2) a standalone “prequel” that will detail a SG campaign after Mike’s graduation.
3 copies purchased, to be distributed around the ‘ville. 😉
