Testing the Cat Blog

Also known as my “digicam” feature (short for “digital camera”), I have FINALLY been able to launch my catblogging efforts. Of course, as I’m new to photography (beyond just touristy stuff) and new to this digital camera in particular, you’ll have to bare with me.

For my first photo, I present Freckles Poe, the ailing teenaged cat of my coworker, Ann Poe. Freckles is 14, has a stomach condition that might be lymphona (spelling?), but otherwise is a loving, intelligent cat. So smart and demanding, Freckles will often try to use his paw to lift your fingers to his face to be petted. Along with his adopted sister, Irvling, I am house-sitting for Freckles this week while Ann is on vacation.

So anyway, here he is. Don’t ask me how I managed to get a black background. This was literally only the third picture I took from the new camera.
