Christmas Eve in Philly
Okay, so I spent Friday and Saturday in Philadelphia. Well, I spent part of Friday getting there, and another part visiting the Valley Forge national park. I then visited Edgar Allen Poe’s house in Philly and ate dinner in an Irish pub before turning early. On Saturday, I went to see the Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross’s house, the National Constitution Center, and a couple other sights, before eating at Hard Rock Cafe and getting home.
It was pretty neat, and I took a lot of pictures and got a lot of magnets. I even got a bobble-head of John F. Kennedy, and a souvenir glass from Hard Rock Cafe in Philadelphia.
It was a nice diversion from DC, and the weather made it an acceptable get-away.
Once I get my pics developed, I’ll try to post some to the Net for your enjoyment.
