Catblogging
Don’t have a digital camera yet (family, take note!), but I figured I’d start linking to occassional things I come across that are kinda neat.
Take, for instance, the economics of cats. Apparently, since cats are more independent-minded and emotionally self-satisified than dogs, they are undervalued as pets. Supply and demand, see. Dogs are more popular, and thus more numerous. So it’s more economical to pick a cat as a pet.
Although, if your cats are like mine, one will bite you if you pet her for more than a minute and otherwise leave you alone until she drags a string across the room to be played with. Meanwhile, the other one will constantly want to be by your side – to the point of wanting to jump under the covers at night.
