After a long, crazy afternoon at work (I spent little time on personal matters, even during an official break I worked through) of trying to authorize priority cases handed to me by my bosses, I decided to go out to West Falls Church. (Yes, Nick, I was in the neighborhood!)
I went there to attend an information session on an alternative path to becoming a licensed K-12 teacher in Virginia. It’s not all that involved, except my bachelor’s doesn’t have an easy fit in the pre-established areas of specialty (which might mean taking some undergrad courses).
It’s definitely a thought worth considering. I am already at my highest position at the Funds outside of management, and somehow I can’t imagine being a Team Coordinator for the rest of my life. So I have to think of these things.
What do you want to be when you grow up? 🙂
